What was the highlight of Hotel Veracruz Plaza
A beautiful, clean and modern hotel. Comfy beds and excellent underground parking.
This hotel has excellent reception staff. My husband and I received the warmest welcome on arrival from them I think I have ever had on arrival at a hotel! - thank you to the staff! Everything was very clean and neat. The underground parking was perfect, highly secure and each space was ample for an SUV. The price per night of the parking was very reasonable. The time at the spa was relaxing and pleasant. The temperature of the jacuzzi was fabulous. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed size was huge and comfy. Breakfast was lovely, a very nice wide selection of products. A wonderful hotel!
The spa itself is a mini-spa, it is very small but cute. The buttons controlling the jets supply a very short amount of water-jet time on the underwater beds but are fine in other areas of the spa. In our bathroom the shower had a strange set up of one shower wall being head to knee clear glass giving visual access straight through from the shower via the bedroom door to the public corridor. In other words, if one guest is taking a shower and the other guest has to open the room door (to receive extra towels, to get a blanket, to accept room service etc.) then the nude person in the shower will be totally visible to the stranger or employee walking around OUTSIDE the bathroom! It did not happen to us, but it totally COULD! :-0
